The 3COM 3C503 Ethernet adapter has been tested in-house and is
compatible with all other LANtastic Network Operating System

from this office to date.
The following information is based on in-house testing and customer
support of LANtastic AI. If you are not a registered LANtastic

RUNNING LANTASTIC AI WITH A 3COM 3C503 ETHERNET ADAPTER
LANtastic/AI 4.0 includes a device driver to support the
3COM 3C503 adapters in their memory mapped mode with our
3C503MM.EXE program. It is intended for the 3C503 adapters only.
Support for the other adapters is in development.
After running the INSTALL program, and selecting the 3C503
adapter, a program called 3C503MM.DOC will be in the LANTASTI
subdirectory. PLEASE READ IT.
It is essential that the adapter be placed into it's
memory mapped mode. The jumper block is just to the left of the
large square chip on the adapter. You have to remove the adapter's
MEMORY jumper from the disabled position, and place it onto one of
the four other jumpers, depending which high memory address you
want to select. With the 3C503MM program, unlike all the other
adapters we support that use high memory, there is no need for a
corresponding RAMBASE= software switch. (See the SETTINGS fax)
